Occupational
(OT)

Helps with barriers that affect a person's emotional, social, and fine motor needs.

Basic sensory integration techniques are also applied.

Feeding

Addresses difficulties in feeding, like sucking, chewing, or swallowing.  Sensory issues with food can be addressed as well.

Physical
(PT)

Focuses in movement, motor development, and body function (e.g. strength and endurance).

Physical Therapy also helps with cognitive developmental delays due to scientifically proven link between motor planning and higher thinking/cognitive skills (like speech and communication).

Oral Placement Therapy (OPT)

OPT is a type of oral-motor therapy that targets specific movements needed for speech and feeding.

Speech
(ST)

Helpful for kids with speech and/or language and communication challenges.

It is advisable to ensure that the child already has the needed foundational skills and working behaviors to fully maximize and benefit from speech therapy sessions.  This can be obtained from OT therapy (if the child was advised to have OT).

Sensory
Integration (SI)

Helps kids with sensory processing issues by exposing them to sensory stimulation in a structured, repetitive way.

Child & Adolescent Counseling

Counseling services for ages 7 to 15 provides professional support by focusing on emotions, behavior and anxiety.
